Order Update emails not sending formated emails

Hi there Everyone,

When I send out an order update email telling customers that thier item is in the post it sends out this crap looking email. It basicly takes out all of my returns.

 

this is an exsample of an email

Bla.com ------------------------------------------------------ Order Number: 164 Detailed Invoice: http://www.bla.com/account_history_info.php?order_id=164 Date Ordered: Monday 02 January, 2006 The comments for your order are Dear Josh, Thank you for shopping at bla.com Your purchase has been picked up by our courier service and will be with you soon. You are welcome to track the progress of your parcel by visiting www.aae.com.au and entering your consignment number. Your consignment number is: 12345678 Once again thank you for shopping at bla.com and we hope to see you again soon! Kind regards Sarah Customer service bla.com Your order has been updated to the following status. New status: In the post Please reply to this email if you have any questions.

 

It should look like this.

I don't really want html I just want a good looking text email.

 

Does anyone know how to fix this?

ahhhhhh! this is killing me :(

any one know what to do?

 

Check how you have configured interpretation of "CR/LF". This is set in Admin->Configuration->E-Mail Options.

 

Also, you might want to take a look at your includes/classes/email.php (especially if you are on a Windows system).

 

Many contributions use <br> to get "\n" or "\r\n" -- and, this will work on some systems. However, I could never get it to work in Windows.
