I had the same problem last night, and I ended up deleting everything and just starting from scratch. I have been working on this all day and really don't want to delete and start over again. I am getting this error when I try to access my control panel: Warning: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2) in /home/content/b/e/r/berrybuckets29/html/catalog/admin/includes/functions/database.php on line 19Unable to connect to database server! I'm hosting my database at godaddy.com and I have already spent a ton of time with customer service. they say my database is set up and running fine on their end and that it is a scripting error. They can't help me with that. I'm clueless :-" I've been trying to read and find the solution and keep seeing a reference to the htaccess files.
