GypsyLove Posted January 2, 2006 Share Posted January 2, 2006 ok, i've said a few times already...i am a very simple minded creature when it comes to this whole site business....so, do not feel bad for speaking to me like i am three.....as a matter of fact, please do....ok, so i am looking in to doing a link exchange....i have a general oscommerce format, i think.... www.jazzygypsy.com .... do i need to add a page for my 'links'...and will it have all the other unneccasarry stuff on the page...ie shopping cart, reviews, bestsellers etc.....???? please, please, please help!!!!! You could add a new page and name it links.php or something similar and use one of the existing pages as a model for it. For someone well versed in the system and PHP it would not be that difficult a task. However by your own admission you're still learning the system, so I'm not going to suggest that for you. There is a contribution that does help to manage that sort of thing for you, http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,930 I haven't used it myself, although in hindsight I wish I had. As is normally the case for me I did things the hard way LOL. I found another open source "links directory" and modified it to incorporate into osC. If I had found the contribution I just mentioned before I went through that process I would have likely saved myself a great deal of time.
