Remove field in customer detail

I want to remove the "phone " field when customer create account, is there any way i can delete it ? thanks you

Make sure you have a safe, original copy of catalog/create_account.php somewhere.

 

Then find and delete these lines in the operating version.

 

if (strlen($telephone) < ENTRY_TELEPHONE_MIN_LENGTH) {

$error = true;

 

$messageStack->add('create_account', ENTRY_TELEPHONE_NUMBER_ERROR);

}

 

 

And then these:
