Jack_mcs
For meta tags, you should install the Header Tags controller contribution. For the links, I don't understand which ones you want to delete so I can't help with that one. ddp
Gypsylove Do you know how to access the admin control panel? Once you are in the admin control panel you of the Catalog and then contents sections. This is where you add new categories and products. You might want to check out http://www.oscommerce.com/solutions/documentation There is lots of information there to help you get aquatinted with how oscommerce works. The last post was talking about adding a contribution that would modify oscommerce. Before you try this I would recommend getting used to how the admin panel of oscommerce works. Do you have experience using ftp programs? Backup before making changes. Backup before making changes! Backup before making changes!! You did do a backup? eh? So people have written code changes to fix and enhance the package. These are call contributions. Some are very easy to install while others are very difficult. Header Tags is probably not one you would want to tackle as your first contribution unless you are familiar with editing code. It is not that you could not do it. Many people install it having never done such a thing before. But it can be nerve-wracking so you need to go slow. For any such changes, always make a backup of your shop first. You will regret it if you do not. Then, when you run into a problem, which you most likely will, just post on the forums, preferably in the support thread for the contribution you are having problems with. It takes some time to understand how to make the changes but they are worth it, and in some cases required, if you want to have a shop that functions properly.
