when i click continue i get the message below

A test connection made to the database was NOT successful.

The error message returned is:

Please click on the Back button below to review your database server settings.

If you require help with your database server settings, please consult your hosting company

Try using localhost as the database server. Also make sure you have assigned the user to the database. It is a three part process, created database, create user with password, assign user to database.

The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing.

Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems?

There are many very useful osC Contributions

Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here

BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??
