lonestarbaits
I'm trying to avoid needing SSL, so maybe customers can purchase products on the site with out having an account, with out putting any shipping address, name, etc.. on the site, because I'm only accepting cash (at pickup), money order/check (mail or pickup) and paypal. I can ship to their paypal address, so no address or other personal information will be stored/entered on the site, therefore I won't need SSL... riiiiight? :-P

It seems to me though that if you are accepting cash for pickup orders you are going to need to collect some info so you know who the orders go to. I would imagine at the least you will need a name and phone number. The paypal orders should not be a problem as paypal will send you that info but without some customer info on the cash orders it seems like it would be chaotic at best. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right?? lonestarbaits
Yeah, you're right... it would be a good idea to have at least a name and a phone number with cash orders... and e-mail addresses with all orders, hmm do you have something in mind? lonestarbaits
wait, you can find out their e-mail address when they send you payment through paypal, so guess that's not needed
