♥Vger
No SSL protection for customers Login and Account details etc. The site fails at the first hurdle - people are very wary of buying on the Internet (rightly so) and having no SSL isn't going to entice them to buy. Cameo1968
I thought it was professionally created. :D However, having a secure sight is very important. Camie
Guest
hi,vger and Camie, thanks for your comments. We'll add SSL asap. However, do you have any recommands regarding which pages are supposed to be SSL? happy new year!
Cameo1968
I'm not an expert on this but I would assume that only your checkout or purchasing pages should have it. Camie
Guest
I think it's too busy. Too many boxes, too much to read. Huge chunk of white space in between columns. I like that one bar....the one that begins with FREE SHIPPING. It's colorful, jumps off the page. The rest of your page is pale and dim and hard to read. Make the rest of the page look like that bar. That bar just POPS and the rest of it is blah. There are lots of references in Most Popular and Best Sellers that are........??? Item numbers? Serial numbers? Why would I click on those? I don't even know what they are. What's that word 'electronics' doing on the bottom left of the footer? Don't take it too hard; don't take it personally. You wanted some feedback, I'm just trying to give you some. Good luck! Andrea

tastar
I'm going to post my site for comments in a couple of weeks and thought that it would be a good idea to provide some "feedback" so that I'm better at taking it when the time comes. At first glance, I really liked the site. But, after mousing through it a little, I'm agreeing with the other posters. There is just too much there, and a lot of it doesn't work. I got a link error on the Site Map page, and the bottom links were missing from the page; there are no Q&A's in the Leave a Message link (it just looks unfinished and the Leave a Message duplicates Contact Us); the tabs wierd out when the Shower Stall Enclosure tab is clicked in the second row (I'm using Firefox 1.5 on a Mac); there were no detailed images for the items that I clicked on (and I think that they would be essential to successful sales) and no product details (maybe that part isn't done); and there were categories with no items (maybe they are to come). I think that I would take out some of the contribs (probably harder than putting them in) and get the basics working perfectly before re-adding them. A friend who has a fairly successful site said that adding an 800 number made a big difference in phone response (and sales). It seems that you put a lot of effort into this - adding an 800 number would be minor compared to that. Overall, very impressive, but needs improvement. ♥MYC267
You have quite a few mods on your site but see you retained pretty much the stock layout and colour scheme. I'd say that at this stage you need to rethink that because I honestly think you are cutting yourself short. You have done well to provide so many features but its let down by the stock look. At first glance it was a little confusing. It lokos like you have just cut and pasted sections around the place to make it fit. For example the menu system doesn't match the rest of the site at all. It needs to be integrated better. No SSL for login page and create account page... don't expect the savvy web shopper to put in their details without their private information being protected. You have one review... if you are just opening then thats understandable but the quantity of reviews on a shop like this can often say a lot. When I see one review it doesnt give me the impression that a lot of customers come through. Perhaps a good idea on how to get more reviews is to offer incentive. Perhaps you give away a $50 one a month or quarter to the best written review from a customer. WATCH your number of reviews rise! I like your feedback page... its nice to know that you are willing to take any feedback from pass byers. Feedback is the food source for continual improvement so I think thats a good idea. Like I said overall you have a tone of features but I think you need to take a step back and really work on layout and integrating all these features on the site so they are seamless. Another piece of advice... sometimes less is more.... Dan

Mette
Nice site  I like the top part... I do, however, think that you could do away with som of the left side categories... they make the site too long, if you know what I mean !
