Nancyl
I have an OS Commerce web site and I have purchased a new web site template from 4Templates.com which is in html format. I wish to use the OS Commerce control panel with this new template. I have read thru the forum postings and OS documentation and have not come across a satisfactory answer. Do I need to re-install OS Commerce to enable this new template & OS Commerce control panel to work together? Or have I just wasted my money in this regard? Appreciate all advice. Is this template designed to specifically to work with osC? If it is a standard HTML image sliced template, then it will not be a seamless integration. You might take a look at the STS template contribution and see if that might provide some help for you. However be aware before you dig in, modifying or customizing an image sliced template is not the easiest thing in the world. It helps a great deal if you have photoshop and they have provided you with a PSD file, because then you can take a step back and modify it from the source. What I primarily mean is with a image sliced template, tables are used extensively and may not be compatible with the osC table structure. Be well, Tina If you're not having fun you're not doing it right Teach a person to fish rather than give them a loaf of bread or however that saying goes.
