Gift Add Settings

Hi

I have the Gift Add Contribution installed with no Problems, just a couple of queries:

I created a new Product i.e. Giftvoucher for an Amount but left the Retail Cost at 0.00, as I found that if I price the Product it will show up with THAT Price in the Shopping Cart after having been added by the Customer (and it should be free)

What puzzles me is that if I set the Product to Inactive i.e. out of Stock, it does not show as a Free Gift (and as it is the only one i have set up currently, there is NO Free Gift if the Customer reaches the Treshold)

If i set the Product to Active, i.e. In Stock it seems to work fine with the Product being displayed as it should in the Shopping Cart once the Treshold is reached.

The Problem is that it then also shows up on my Index Page as "New Products for December (or other Months) Shows as Product at 0.00 Retail Value (as it should be) but I would prefer it not to show there. When a Customer clicks on it and adds it to the Shopping Cart, the Cart Value will of course stay at 0.00.

Am I missing something? Any Ideas appreciated.

Also on the Session1.com site if a Customer clicks on "Free Gifts" he gets to the gifts.php Page, telling him that they need to be added after some other Products, not on their Own.

How can i implement something similar.

This can be seen here

With Kind Regards
