rollininoh
Hi all, thanks for the great app. I am a newb to webpage stuff, but i got a oscommerce site up and running now, and the only customization i really need to figure out, is how to add a download or streaming audio link on every item. I am selling goose calls, and customers like to hear the call before they order it. Thanks !
Mediajuggle
try OsPlayer http://www.counteractdesign.com/temp.html I use it on my site to handle audio and although I have it set up as a player, you can also use a simple button link. Mediajuggle
there are those of us running stores based on this contribution so it does work some people it seems are having a hard time getting it to work, and there is no support from the author for it... AWWWW.WAHWAH
if the author is going to refuse support for it, then it needs to be denoted in the contribution page and here so users don't waste time with it.
Mediajuggle
if the author is going to refuse support for it, then it needs to be denoted in the contribution page and here so users don't waste time with it. the author used to support it.. though he was not fast at doing so. Since his site has changed.. he seems more focused on his "fork" project than osplayer. But it does work, as there are people running stores with it, and it's still a viable solution which is why I still recommend it to people. Mediajuggle
as a matter of fact if you follow this thread... http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=184207 you'll see that someone else just launched a store using OsPlayer... so it does work.... if you're having a problem getting it to work for YOU... that's one thing... but to just say it doesn't work is misleading to someone who could use the solution My Contribution Music Download Store Template http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,4275
AWWWW.WAHWAH
I am using osplayer lite. It does not work for me. So it's not 100% fool proof. :) But if there is no author support from this point on, it needs to be denoted which I'll note on the contributions page. Mediajuggle
oh  ... i can't speak on the lite version as I've never used it... but why not install the full version and just use the button option?
