Unable to update Country

When I am in Administration, Configuration, My Store, I click on Country then click to "edit" country I get the following error:

 

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING in /var/www/store/admin/configuration.php(125) : eval()'d code on line 1

 

Can any body tell me if they have any idea at all how to fix this please.

To work with osCommerce you need to keep an up to date copy of all files on your computer, and then to have a good plain text editor which will show you line numbers, enabling you to track down on which line the problem is. Both Text Pad and Crimson Editor are free downloads.

 

In this case the quickest and easiest thing to do is to replace the admin/configuration.php file with an unedited version of that file.
