Nancyl Posted December 27, 2005 Share Posted December 27, 2005 Hi Woundering if you could help a newbie were using os commerce now witch i think is using the built in index.php <_< We wonted to update our site with a new HTML template how would we intergate our old os commerce to take over our new template what files would have to be edited ?.Or is it even possable to do so ? Nancyl Posted December 27, 2005 Author Share Posted December 27, 2005 Click on basics for osc design in my signature under Thanks for your prompt reply read through most of them pages thats seems to be about editing os commerce template and adding stuff .So basicly if we wont to use a html template we would have to edit it through something like front page to add stuff to pages and so on and upload it when done . ♥Vger Posted December 27, 2005 Share Posted December 27, 2005 Don't use FrontPage, or Word, or Wordpad to edit files for osCommerce. They are not plain text editors and apply text formatting. Use something like Notepad, or Text Pad or Crimson Editor to edit files. Download, take a backup (just in case), edit in a plain text editor and upload again via FTP.
