email problem unix hosted shared server

I have oscommerce running on a shared Unix server.

I am not getting any emails to send out from my site.

I have email enabled, sendmail, 'lf' turned on.

I get no error messages and it shows successful from the oscommerce side.

Has anyone had similar problems and resolved them?
