Looking for product attributes solution

Ok I have done some searching around but can't seem to find exactly what I am looking for, or maybe I found it and skipped over it who knows.

 

I have a wide array of products with multiple options based on each product selected. I am looking for a solution that would allow me to set all the options I need without adding each one individually. I have up to 20-30 options per product in various fields and going through to add one product is a mess in the default install.

 

Any suggestions for an easy to install solution for this? If I have 100+ options and then 3000 vaules thats a heck of a list to try and make sure I am using the right variables. Even if I only select the Option Name and it returns the allowed Option Values I could just cheat and name my Option Name's after products so I could quickly add the values. If it could add all values without adding them one at a time though I would not complain.

 

This make any sense? Anyone have a suggestion that works for them?

 

Say I sell boxes and I have 3 materials for one box, 6 colors and 10 sizes. What is the easiest solution to add these options for the box and streamline the addition of more?

 

Basically I would be happy with a system that lets me choose the option name and only displays the values that go with that. Trying to comb through all available options is a pain. I want to select the Option Name and have it tell me what values are available for that Option Name only. Even if I add those one by one it would streamline it so much easier

The Attributes Sets contrib will do that for you.
