inktomisearch.com indexing my site

Hi all,

I use user_tracking contribution to monitor visitors to my site.

inktomisearch.com has been continuously indexing my site for a long time. It is annoying to have a long list of its activity on the list and each visit from it was granted a session number.

However I could not find out what is the name string of its spider. Therefore it can not be included in the list of search engin spiders to avoid granting it a session number.

Apparently inktomisearch.com can not be directly visited to obtain the information. Anyone has similar issue?

inktomi is owned by yahoo and yahoo owns many other search engines, which would explain why you see it so much

to ensure it doesn't generate a session id, download the spiders.txt contribution from the contributions area. it's continuously updated with new spiders
