ddp
Anyone run into this? While browsing through the different categories in my store some headings have extra text apearing above or below it.. The extra text that appears are always the letter "n". Sometimes it is one letter "n" above the text as occurs in some categories that display the text "Let's See what we have Here. This happens in particular when a category is displayed that has only other categories within it. In this case the word Categories appears and a row of "n"s appears underneath like this "n n n n n n n n n n n n n" the word "Categories". I think the text for these headings is found in the catalog/includes/languages/english/index.php file but when I looked there everything seemed to be ok. Any idea about how to get rid of these "n"s? KaiAnimation
Hi ddp- I've never seen this, but if I was to try to find it, then I would: Try saving one of your webpages from your browser to your desktop, File-Save As. Once you save your page, then open this file with a text editor and replace all occurances of border=0 with border=1. Save this file, File-Save. Then just double click this file to open it in a browser. All of the sections of your webpage will be surrounded by borders, this will help see where it is coming from. Maybe you can post a webpage with the problem. Danny If I'm giving advice, it is based on what path I would take to fix your problem. My path may be wrong. ddp
Thanks for your replies. Tom that was what the problem was. I changed the "n" to "\n" and they all dissappeared. Not quite sure why but it works. Also thanks for turning be not to the OScommers Knowledge Base. Seems like lots of great information there. Backup before making changes.
