Look under admin panel>Modules>Order Total Modules>Shipping. Edit the Shipping section and turn on the free shipping and edit the amount you want free shipping to start at. The defaults are: False and 500 (I believe). This is assuming that you are receiving your payments in British pounds if I understand your (pounds) symbol to be pounds. Hope it helps.
