3tailer
Hello, I just created my .htaccess / .httppass to protect the admin area of my website. When I use the address; example.com/admin the password prompt comes up like it should. When I use the address; www.example.com/admin it bypasses the password prompt. Any idea how to fix this? Thank you.
♥Vger
There's usually no need to make your own .htaccess and .htpasswd to protect 'admin'. Most hosts provide a Password or Directory Protection feature in their web hosting control panel - and this creates those files and places them in the correct location. Vger I'm pretty sure Godaddy won't let me do that. Any other suggestions? Thanks again. <_<
