thexgod Posted December 22, 2005 Share Posted December 22, 2005 I have a company in NY and i installed the oscommerce software, but i have a little problem with the taxes : For example when somebody buys an item in California, he don't have to pay a sells tax, course my company is in NY, but if somebody from NY buys an item from me, he have to pay the sells tax in NY ( 8,375% ). Please help me with the setup of this stuff... Thanks I had similar problem, what I had to do was make a new country, then add a zone such as California, add new tax zone, then add new tax rate.
