rachawal
I've recently installed osCommerce on my (hosted) web server and completed the database configuration as well. However, when attempting to access the Admin tool, I get the following error message "Unable to connect to database server!" I verified the configure.php files (in two locations) and also made sure that the information that I was supplying during installation was correct. I also verified that the database server is accepting remote connections, which it is. I am still unable to access the Admin tool. I've reviewed the online documentation, read posted messages in this forum, scanned posted bug reports and contributions, but to no avail. From what I've researched about osCommerce it is a very good solution, and I would hate to have to start looking for another shopping cart/online store solution, but if there's no support available, I may not have a choice. Could someone PLEASE help me with this problem? Kind regards, Rachman
