Hi all, a merry christmas to you! Need urgent help please! I had a store which I set up to learn PHP And OSC by playing around with all types of contributtions. Now, I didn't access it for 3 months and I've forgotten the PASSWORD for the admin panel! I had Admin Acess Control contribution installed and I tried to upload the admin_tabel.sql to overwrite the one I had in my server and I tried to find clues in the configure.php but to no avail. It has been such a long time since I last touch on OSC and I've forgotten almost everything, including password and username. I tried all pw and username I can think of but I still can't get the right one. How can I retrieve the admin password and username? Do I have to delete the store and set up a new one and have all the contributions installed one by one from scratch again?

Anyone please help? Thanks!!

Use phpmyadmin or similar if your host provides it and look at the admin_table directly. You should be able to read usernames and passwords. I'm not personally familiar with the contribution, but I imagine the passwords are hashed, so you will have to reset it. To reset the admin password, all you need to do is delete the password for the admin login in the database table, then you will be able to login using just the admin username.

or if you FTP into your site you can always delete the .htaccess file located in your admin directory to see if that lets you in. you could also use cpanel to view and modify the protection you have on that folder (admin folder)

Give me the link to the version you have.

As mentioned above if it is potected via .htaccess delete the file and you'll have access without password and login. If it is protected by a session/cookie your login and pass will be in the database.

These can (as mentioned too) be changed to new values via phpmyadmin.
