Extra Table Rate shipping module not installing

Hi there! (And sorry that my English is so poor...)

 

I'm trying to install new shipping module contirubution Extra Table Rate. I follow the instruction and uppload the two files to the right folders (and yes, I have done this before, so I think I aught to know what I'm doing). After upploading the files the module shows correctly in admin > modules > shipping -section but when I click the install -button nothing happens. Well, browser does something and the page reloads but the module is still uninstalled and there is just the "install"-button on the right side of the page. So I must be doing something wrong, but I can't understand what. I know many shops use this contibution so there shouldn't be anything wrong with that.

 

Can anyone help me? I'm quite desperate already...

It gets worse... I deleted the Extra Table Rate module files and when I did that I lost all the others from the store as well! Now there isn't ANY shipping method on checkout shipping -page although I can see in the admin there is five of them...

 

Please help me, I'm totally lost. :blink:

you r this contribution is not working on my site too. the extra module is added. but it is not taking the values for the 2nd and 3rd day.

You must delete these two table.php files and again upload the old table.php files again.

Don't worry i have an answer that is simple and easy.

 

1)first of all restore your original settings. i.e please install the the original table.php files on their exact locations(includes/modules/shipping/table.php) and(includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/table.php).

 

2) now download the following contribution:

upload the files table2.php at both of above locations.

now you have two table rates modules.

Go to your admin panel --->shipping. You should see new table rate module. click on it and press INSTALL to install it. Now edit it according to you needs.

3)please edit the table.php and table2.php files(includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/table.php and table2.php) to see the desired text on your catalog area. e.g 24 hours delivery , 48 hours delivery, International .........
