I am wondering if anyone knows how to delete many(and I mean many) outdated, not wanted or out of stock entries. I have over 5000+ entries, many I dont want or are out of stock. Is there a way to remove these without doing it 1 at a time? Is there a fix or ??? This is a live store, and I would hate to mess this up.

Thanks for looking.

So far as i know is that you have to do it one at a time.

This will help you out.

It's called "Multiple Products Manager v2.15"

http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...roducts+Manager

I use it myself... couldn't go without it. The only drawback that I saw was that it won't select multiple categories and allow you to delete/copy/move them too. But for the products?.... it'll make you smile when you use the Product Manager. It allows you tro quickly copy a product in another category and it still will be in it's other place too.

I give it 10 thumbs up!

What do you see when you open up the tep_database-pr2.2-CVS.pdf file that came with your osCommerce download?

Using the Products Manager will save you about 70% of your manual time. You can move many products at 1 time, just not the categories.

With this all you do is choose your category and navigate to your products,,, select them all if you want, and move/copy/delete theose products. That is what you want right?

Or do you have 200 categories and products are in all or most of those categories? If that's the case, exporting your tables and modifying them in Excel should be super fast for you.

OK what am I doing wrong? I downloaded the file, uploaded the products_multi.php files to the right places, and made all the right changes. But it doesn't work. I've un-did the changes and tried again, even triple checked everything. Still no luck, I keep getting a: <{ Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/mydvds/public_html/admin/includes/filenames.php on line 41 }>. Any thoughts or help?
