gbatir Posted December 20, 2005 Posted December 20, 2005 Hello everyone! This is my site: www.brishop.ro I'm prepared to make some modifications, so please, check my test area too Sandbox It has only romanian language because this is my target for now. I've been editing and adding contributions for the last 3 months, but now I'm out of ideas. What do you think? I'm interested in loading speeds if any of you is on dial-up. TIA
Chance Posted December 20, 2005 Posted December 20, 2005 Your post title says it all- There are 1,000,000,000,000 computer shops online- what makes yours better? What is your USP? Why would I buy from you? Your site is alright, its your business plan that has issues. Evidently you don't think its anything special either calling it "Just another computer shop". Success selling online is more than putting up a shop. My advice comes in two flavors- Pick the one that won't offend you. chooch Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 This is one of the few examples where the use of the styleshet makes up for what initially seems a stock site. The review option in the product info page is good but maybe its better for that only to show up if the customer has logged in and actually bought that item? Nice layout in the product info pages.... and very nice use of colours, they contrast with the background images in a complementry... Well done and good luck! Upon receiving fixes and advice, too many people don't bother to post updates informing the forum of how it went. Until of course they need help again on other issues and they come running back! Why receive the information you require in good faith for free, only to then have the attitude to ignore the people who gave it to you? There's no harm in saying, 'Thanks, it worked'. On the contrary, it creates a better atmosphere. CHOOCH
swtnhpy Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 WOW...the only thing I can say is that I'm using high speed cable and that site took approximately 1 minute to come up. I would look into some of the speed contributions for your site.
