Weird problem - help!?

Hi!

I just installed the latest version of osCommerce and started to customize the layout and then got this weird problem. When I try to edit for example stylesheet.css file I get this message: "Error: I can not write to this file. Please set the right user permissions on: /home/****/public_html/store//stylesheet.css"

If I change the file permissions from shell (chmod 777) the line in the file manager still says:

stylesheet.css 5,859 bytes -rw-r--r--

I also uploaded edited version of stylesheet, but the layout of catalog is still the same. I've tried different browsers (Opera, Firefox, IE) and cleared caches and proxy server is not used.

Help needed badly :(

P.S. Sorry about my bad english

 Problem solved!

This guy for whom I am doing this site thought that it is not importat to tell me that the rented web hotel home directory was moved to different server. So I was uploading and editing files for server in USA and the domain was pointed to server in Germany :-" No wonder if osCommerce's file manager worked so weird :D
