johnjacobp Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 I am trying to setup shipping for a coffee company. The company sells beans in 1/2lb., 1 lb. and 5 lb. bags. I have made an attribute for (1/2lb, 1lb, and 5lb) that sell for different prices. But how do I set it up to get the shipping right? Do I have to make a seperate product for each weight? Or is there a way to allow a customer to select the "drop down" attribute weight and still be able to calculate the cost correctly? Quote
Guest Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 (edited) You may do better to use the Master Products contribution rather than attributes. This will allow you to display the different weight products (yes products) on the same product info page - you will have a Master that points to these from elsewhere in the catalog.
