I plan to move it in protected area so what (configuration,files) should be changed I simply used my plesk from my host. it was called privacy configuration. there i am able to choose anyfolder or file and add password protect to them.

I can webprotect any folder in root directory but in my case i need to protect just subfolder. :(

It will show you how to password protect your directory. http://support.kkeim.com/utilities/htaccess/ You need to know your absolute path and your hosting account has to be Unix/Linux type account.
