I submitted it to Google about 6 months ago but still, but I have problems. Here is what Google shows when I search aaavirtualstore:

www.aaavirtualstore.com/

Similar pages

Live support - AAA Virtual Store

Live Customer Support, Free Live Support, Free 24x7 Live Customer Support.

www.aaavirtualstore.com/live_support/client.php - 4k - Supplemental Result - Cached - Similar pages

One of the pages, Live Support does show up in Google but the main page doesn't. The same website shows up in Yahoo and other search engines, but not in Google. Can anyone tell me what I can do to fix this?

"Submitting" your site to any of the major search engines really doesn't do anything. The search engines add sites to their databases based on the links they find while crawling the web. So if you want your site to be in the Google database, you need to start trading some links and other such activities.

Also when you say its not in their database, you did a search on your domain name and it came up empty? or that its just not showing up on a search of your keywords? If it happens to be the latter, means you just have to keep tweaking things. Remember the contributions mentioned on enable your site to be SEF, beyond that the results are up to your efforts.

You should also test your site using a search engine bot/spider simulator. I had made changes to my site at one time which made it invisible to search engine bots (they don't accept cookies, so my pages weren't showing to the bots). There are many of these spider simulators on the web (free), do a Google search.

Basically, the only way I can find my website in Google is if I type aaavirtualstore in search. None of the other keywords work. I tried search engine simulators but they didn't report anything wrong with the site.

You could try to eliminate the .css styles injected by whatever template you're using; move it into a sylesheet. Also the search box, move it to the right side. The less scripts you have to the beginning of the page content the better.

can anyone suggest a good bot/spider to use?

the one's i've used in the past either beat up my bandwidth or aren't very reliable

I check your site, it is on google's index. Your site has PR=0 and not enough traffic to show in google search. If you able to get your site list on DMOZ, it will help your site show on google search. You need to exchange a lot links with other sites to show on google's first few page.

try site:www.aaavirtualstore.com on google search, you will see the sites that link to your site and in google's database

I reviewed your site and it loaded fast enough for me. I have two suggestions that will help greatly with your SE placement.

One problem google is having with your site is that the title and meta tags are the same for every page so there is a strong likelyhood it thinks the pages are all duplicates bacause they have the same text.

To correct this problem you should install the "Header Tags Controller" contribution. This is IMPERATIVE if you want to achieve high rankings. Once this is done each product category page and even individual product pages will all be indexed by the engines individually. I cant stress how important this is!!! I saw results on MSN fairly quickly.

The next suggestion is not to include the name of your store in the title. That's a big no-no. The first 1-3 words of your title should reflect the keywords of what you want to be found for. If you think people are going to be typing the name of your store in google to find you then leave the name there otherwise ditch the name from the title.

This advice is GOLD! Install the contrib....trust me!
