I asked for some feedback sometime ago - and was advised to change a number of things including colour scheme, image size - some critisism was quite brutal! but i've tried to take it all on board and have changed quite a lot - one comment suggested SSL as a must - I have organised this and my server will have it within 48 hours

so please guys have another look and let me have your honest opinion.

Regards

Personalized Money Shirt: The default value for the money in is ?20. That might be a bit steep for most people, and I'm guessing you make the same amount of money no matter how much the denomination is. Your text describes ?10. So that should be the default. There are a couple ways to do this; on might site for shirt sizes I used an entry based sort order (first attribute entered lists first/top, second below that, etc) and entered my default size Large first, and then a second time after Medium so it would appear in the logical progression below that. This means it appears twice, but it is logically consistent. http://www.cynikgear.com

Most of my other advice is more about marketing.

I would add some personal info to to the site. Cards are about sentiment; add some more to your site by having a page to tell your customers about yourself and your company. Don't overdo it, but cards are about adding a personal touch so using a personal touch on your site would be a good idea. My site is less about sentiment than attitude, but we try to espress that attitude where we can; I found our Conditions of Use page for a site that sells physical product unnecessary so we kept it but turned it into a joke of sorts to reinforce the site.

It seems many of your cards are blank inside. That's fine. It might work later on, if you have some people with a good way with words, to come up with good lines to include inside the cards. They could be on an option list with the default of blank or what works best for the particular card; and have a drop down list of of other lines appropriate to the particular card. Some people have a hard time expressing sentiment; or feel their handwriting is too poor. That would help them and encourage them to buy.

You could also have some basic articles on writing good lines; these would actually best be more about building up the reader's confidence than actual technique. Most people just need to told that expressing themselves is OK. I don't live in Britain but as far as I know people there have just as hard a time with that as people here in the US. "How to Write an Xmas Card" might seem silly, and you don't have to be completely serious in making it, but it could actually have a place on your site.

Another idea could be to sell inexpensive calligraphy pens and ink; fountain style calligraphy pens and of course on site tutorials on how to use them. Link the pens' sales pages to the tutorials about how to use them. Make sure to tell them to practice what they want to write on plain paper before put the pen to the card; you could also sell properly sized pieces of parchment they could write on and glue into the card so they don't have to risk ruining the card as much. Have a package deal; a calligraphy pen, 2 or 3 colors of ink, 10 pieces of parchment and a couple cards.

Sorry my brain just went off on ideas there. Maybe stuff to help out down the road I hope.

Hi,

I just had a look at you site and I think it looks good - it's user friendly with good descriptions and good pictures, overall I think it will do well in the right target market.

Hi,

In return I would really appreciate if I could get some feedback from you too -

My website has been running now for 3 months and has had thousands of unique visitors, but no one has ordered. Can you please give me any feedback of what you think about the products, prices, and the website in general, I would really appreciate it!!! The website is - www.naturalbodyskincare.com

Much Appreciated and Merry Christmas to You!

Cheers

Timon

thanks timon

i'm afraid i don't know much about that market - are you competitively priced in comparison to other sites or shops?

i have been advised to get SSL to make customers feel more secure - perhaps that is your problem too.

do you get customers bailing out at the cart stage or earlier - if you havent done so yet - get supertracker contrib so you can analyse what customers are doing on your site and if they are bailing at cart stage it may be due to SSL or Postage and packaging costs

hope this helps

The best thing you could do is to increase the size of your thumbnails. They are too small to really catch a customer's eye. I think if you increased their size more people would take the time to browse more for you.

Hey I had a look at your shop,

I think it looks good,

To improve i think you could

1 With SSL if you could use Paypal that solves SSL for transactions. Its a good cheap option.

2 Center Website would give customers more thinking space which improves sales.

3 Twice as big thumbnails

4 Pic on home page to wrap up what you are selling (pic is worth a million words as they say)

5 BIT more content

Kind Regards

Timon
