What are we trying to fix here in this line, please, and how???? What are "best practices" for this. It is in the admin and on the pages, too.

(Please note we have not attempted to update our site yet (we would love to, but are afraid the surgery will be horriffic.) We are trying just to get online with something stable first, as we are almost done.)
