Guest
Hi, just finished my site. www.laptopextreme.com/store/ Any comments or suggestions greatly appreciated. Also, does anyone know how to upload more products? I'm pretty much selling everything at about cost + the merchant fees. I'd like to put more stuff up, but the tedious task of uploading one by one is hard. Is there a program that I can use for my SQL database? I've already got a download of products from 2 of my suppliers. Don't know how to integrate it all. Any suggestions? Thanks much.
♥14steve14
I read a post somewhere, but cant find it now, on how to use easypopulate to upload data. Do a search for easypopulate and see what you can find. Eastpopulate contribution can be found HERE There must be a way to inport your date from your suppliers by altering the lkayout of the excel file that you import from. It may take a bit of time, but i am sure that it will be quicker that doing it all on an individual item basis. Kiwi_legion
Very nice Just wondering where you go the template from? Or was this something you created yourself?
Andrew Yuen
I suggest adding a logo and fixing the lady with a laptop below the current logo on your site. It looks like her right arm is cut off. Andrew Yuen osCommerce, Community Team

Guest
Looks really clean and easy to navigate. Some feedback: Even on 2MB ADSL, the images load slowly - have a look for a thumbnail contribution. I use the one that runs off GD and it's sweet... Also consider removing date of birth (done in admin options) from the account creation page - my customers did not like having to give this! Guest
Thank you for all the feed back. Yeah, most of it was a template I bought, but I have a graphic design background to rework some of the images and all that. Had so much headaches working with the SQL, that I had to up my site about 5-6 times due to corruption. I just downloaded the Easy Populate and it's works great, just haven't used it to upload anything yet, but it'll be soon. Thanks again.

But I dont know, I guess I can take it off.

Ok, I installed the Easy Populate and I was able to download the data file, BUT after I changed the numbers and uploaded it, it doesn't show the changes on the website. I also noticed that I can download the file fine, but cant download to the "temp" folder. It looks like it does, but nothing shows in the folder. Same thing with uploading, it's looks like it uploaded, but doesnt change. Could it be the wrong version of Easy Populate for my site? How do I check what version of OSCommerce is on my site? Thanks.
