nick106b
Hey up Mi Ducks. I keep seeing "Bump" in the forums... but that's all. No comment on the string or a response. So what is the "Bump" thing all about? (It makes no sense to me...) Nick.

GraphicsGuy
If your question doesn't get answered after a reasonable time (i.e a full day at least), then the right thing to do is post additional useful information that will help forum members better understand the question or problem. Most unanswered questions aren't the result of nobody noticing them, but rather nobody has an answer based on the provided information. So, more information will help others help you. Rule #1: Without exception, backup your database and files before making any changes to your files or database. Rule #2: Make sure there are no exceptions to Rule #1. Guest
Funny thing about bumping - it doesn't work. Most people who regularly reply to questions look for ones that have not been answered *first* - if the post is bumped, then it has an answer and is off that list already. Most people who regularly reply also begin with the oldest unanswered posts first... so again the person bumping is, rather than as they think putting themselves at the top of the list, instead putting themselves worse than the bottom :-" Matti
