Guest Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 Hi, Can someone suggest whether the following is in *any* way possible? 1. After an order is placed, I'd like to track which supplier I've assigned the order to. Can admin assign an order to some “entity" after it's placed (eg. a supplier, or vendor, or manufacturer, or dropshipper, or anyone like that, etc.) ? 2. If so, can admin determine, for a given "entity", which orders are assigned to it? 3. Is there currently any integrated help desk which knows about orders and customers, so the customer does not need a seperate login uid, and can enter an order # when posting a ticket? Also, does the help desk support uploading attachments? Thanks very much.
Guest Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 ... sorry accidentally submitted twice - deleted it.... Please reply to my first post above. Thanks.
Guest Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 for the 1st question: you can disable manufacturers on your catalog view and simply assign manufacturers to each item, and if you wish call them all seperately from the database in your admin panel via php (view all purchases from x manufacturer). Is there currently any integrated help desk which knows about orders and customers, so the customer does not need a seperate login uid, and can enter an order # when posting a ticket?i would be very interested in this sort of system also
tarheit Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 There are a couple helpdesks listed on the contributions. I haven't tried either but it kind of looks like the following one uses the normal users login: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,356 or there is this one which is newer: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,859 -Tim
