♥Vger
I'm assuming it's a shared url they've given you, and that they use the incredibly old and outdated two-folder system - one for httpdocs and the other for httpsdocs. Basically you need to copy all files and folders over to the httpsdocs folder. Once you've got everything running okay then you can delete the 'admin' folder from the httpdocs folder. jlewis01
i do think that it is a shared url it is as follows: https://www.sslzone.net/jandesup however it doesnt seem to be a two-folder system. also if i move all of my files over will i still be able to connect to the mysql database? the connection string refrences localhost. localhost would not be the same if i move all the files over to the new url/ftp host would it? If you are on a shared certificate but not a two folder system them all you need to do is set the secure path in your two configure.php files and you will be good to go. osC will switch back and forth from secure to non-secure as needed. Since you are on a shared cert you hosting company should already have the certificate installed so there should be nothing more for you to do there. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??
