Hi guys had a bit of a mess up with shipping modules recently...

I have the shipping set at "rates" but it still seem it is charging per no. of items in the basket...even though I've never used this option....

I have shipping set for free if you spend over ?15.00 and that's all working fine but I jsut can't get the other bit to work on weight or per order as oppossed to per item...

anyone else experienced this or know how to solve it ?

cheers,

Adam

Hey,

I had same problem especially when i had free shipping over ?39.99. I am using I think "table Rate" changed the wording to Shipping. But if you are using any other shipping methods it will not work.

Hi akhtarkasia,

I've tried the table arte, but when I do taht it seems to just go totally free.....do you know what you set the values at in table to make it work? And have you all the other methods removed?

Thanks,

Adam

Hey

In admin/modules/shipping choose table rate. Click on edit.

Enable Table Method - TRUE

Shipping Table - 39.99:5.95,40.00:0.00 (which means that any orders under ?39.99 will be charged at ?5.95 and any order over will be 0(Zero).

Table method - PRICE

Handling Fee - 0 unless you are charging

Tax class if any.

Shipping zone if any.

Sort order

Click on update and that should be it. If any other problems let me know.

By the way im going home now. so leave me a message.

Hi akhtarkasia,

I just tried setting all that up but now I jsut seem to give free delivery...it doesn't even say "Delivery: Free", delivery justs eems to be missing and therefore given free........I've tried so amny things now I'm not sure if theres a probelm in the websites code or soemthing..and not beinga designer I wouldn't have a clue where to start...

hey can you pm me with your website url and perhaps your admin password and username and ill cehck it out from my side.

With regards to my earlier setting up advice, what should happen is that any orders under ?39.99 would be charged at ?5.95 and any over ?40.00 would be 0 that is free.

It should have worked unless there are other things which are switched on and hence you are having this problem.

Hi guys,a great solution this search engine friendly url package. It is working fine for me on my localhost. But unfortunately not on my providers host!

I have disabled sessions, enabling cookie storage. My cart is not working the time I cross the protocolls from http to https. My provider is using a different domain for the https protocoll. This seems to be the problem, cross domain scripting is not allowed within Browsers any more.

Does anybody have an idea what has to be done for a propper working solution!?

You will find my site here: http://www.bikewear-kaufen.de or here: http://sportswear.bikewear-kaufen.de

I don't want to go live without this keen contribution!

Thanks in advance
