Guest Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 Hi, I just had the shock of my life lastnight, when I typed in some keywords relating to my tent site "Vango Mountain Equipment" and my site came up 4th and 10th in yahoo rankings!!! I even got to number one by typing in a few more keywords. This morning however its dissappeared nowhere to be seen? :( Whats up with those mad flucutations!! its gonna give me a heart attack lol Any ideas what can cause this and if ill ever go back up ? Regards, Jon.
Jack_mcs Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 Such flucuations are not uncommon. The SE's have a number of databases they use and it takes a while to sync them. Wait 3-4 weeks before looking at it and it should be settled down by then. However, if the site disappears completely then you may have been banned. But you won't know that unitl the time has passed. Jack Mate my site has totally disappeared as I checked by typing in the URL :( Whats the deal with that, its it becuase im running it temporarily at home so Dynamic IP address? I thought its only with mail servers and the like that you get put on blacklists like the DUL list. If its the fact that im running it at home then I will quickly sort out a proper isp host !! Regards, Jon.
