Installation loops on step 2

Dear All,

 

I'm new to osCommerce and Php in general.

 

I installed MySQL 4.0.25-max for Mac OSX 10.4.3

I installed php5 for Mac OSX 10.4.3

I installed phpMyAdmin 2.6.4-pl1 10.4.3

I installed osCommerce MS2 2.2 Milestone 2

 

The installation does not go further

Clicking on continue reloads the step 2.

 

Do I need to change some directories permissions ???
