Remove Shopping Cart

Hello,

 

I am currently developing a website that will be used primary for downloading links, files, etc. However, I want osCommerce to be the backbone of my website but I do not want all the bells and whistles of a store. In short, I want it to be a simple osCommerce website not containg the shopping cart, checkout, currencies and make the "Add Cart" button to a link. I want the feeling of a store but yet it can't have no indications of a store.

 

I would like to know how can I remove the "Shopping Cart" feature? I do not want to have SHOPPING CART, CHECKOUT, CURRENCIES (e.g. prices and money symbol's). On the Currencies, the product has a price (I want that removed, useless for my website).

 

I also want the "Add to Cart" button to be a link. So if a viewer were to click "XXXX" button, it will take the viewer to another website or download a file.
