Placement of items in shopping cart page

Hi. In my shopping cart, I have six books. I would like them to appear with the newest, feature titles on the top and the oldest, less interesting ones on the bottom. Currently they are appearing all mixed up. Someone is helping me set up the cart but has not been able to change how they appear. Isn't there some simple way to do this?

Have I phrased this correctly? In other words, I cannot change the order in which my products are displayed. I would think this should not be complicated to change!! Does anyone have a clue how to do this? Or does the program decide how products are displayed?
