Guest Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 Hi, Everything was fine until today. I've try to find where could be the problem? But have no clue. Basicly, i change "Show Category Counts" to FALSE...a while ago, but now when i want to show no. of categories by changing the settings back to TRUE. It seems like nothing happen! Even though it says in the configuration as true. More to that, other settings as well...especially the Catalog option. I created some categories with sub categories in my site. But now i want to remove some sub categories that i might not need, it removes from the configuration, but somehow when i go to the actual site. All those sub categories are still there. Could anybody please please help me out with this? Or has anyone got the same problem as me. Any advice or suggest are welcome and appreciated. I'm really greatful if anyone can just give me any hints or guide me to fix this annoying problem. Thanks in advance and have a good night people :). Best regards Kevin Doan
♥Vger Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 If you have Use Cache set to true in osCommerce admin then set it to false. It may also be a server caching issue. With your browser open, but not to your website, click on Internet Tools and delete all Temporary Internet Files and all Offline Content, and then set your browser to always look for the newest version of pages you visit. Vger Hi Vger, Thanks for your quick respond! I set it to False and it works perfectly now, thank you very much. I also went to Tools and delete all Offline Content, and set the settings to the way you told me :). But i noticed if i turn back on the cookies, the same problem still occurs. I can see a lot of cookies files in my oscommerce folder. It wasn't there before though. Maybe it is because of my cookies were on. Once again thank you very much for your great help :). Kevin Doan
