Pricesa are all 0 ?

Help ? The Price shown for my products is 0 ? I have added new products in Categories/Products section and if i click on one of the products it shows the following ...

 

Date added: 12/14/2005

Pic.gif

Price: ?20.99

Quantaty: 5

Average Rating: 0.00%

 

However when i go to the online catalog the page shows the item pictures but the price is 0, do i have to turn soemthing on, have i removed something i shouldn't have ?

Hi,

 

I had this problem recently and I had not set a default currency - although I thought I had in admin.

 

Try setting the default currency again or try changing the currency in the sidebox on your index page.

There is a connection between currencies and languages. The writers of osCommerce assumed that if your language was English then you used US Dollars. So even if you add UK Pounds and make that your default currency the includes/languages/english.php file still has an entry for 'USD' which should be changed to 'GBP'

Wow ! Many thanks for you fast replies.

 

I tried setting the default currency again but still go tthe same problem. However replacing USD with GBP in includes/languages/english.php fixed the problem. Thanks again for your help.

I had this problem today. I changed the currency on the site to GBP, set that as default and removed USD from admin and that fixed it.
