jewelrytrends Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 Hi, For months I'm trying to solve my email problem, and it seems that no one knows how to solve that. But I hope that there is still somebody out there that can help me. My contact us, create account, order email body are empty!!!They are being sent but without a message. However the my-points emails, and change order status are send with body. I tried to figure out what the difference is between these emails but I'm not able to figure it out In the beginning everything was send out correctly, and somehow a long the way I adjusted something. I installed the following contribs that has something to do with emails fancier invoice and admin email edit. I uninstalled both. In the hope that somebody can help me, Denice

Can you please help with the next step after somebody runs the test Denice

Guest Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 This just started happening to me to. Subject is correct. Body is empty. ??? Mine started last week. I have been online for 3 yrs and have a stable shop. The only change I know of to my shop was a bunch of patches to prevent SQL injection and whatever else was in that thread. but most of those were for the catalog side. my problem seems to be limited to the order status updates. At first it was only hotmail and MSN addresses, now more widespread. My test accounts work fine but still customers complaining of empty emails. I am spending a lot of time trying to figure out what is causing this so if I find a solution and it applies to everyone else, I will post my findings.

Yes the subject is ok, its the body of the email that is missing, a big ugly white page and thats it. I have been reading all threads in regards to empty emails, and it seems more people have had the same problem, and posted the problem on the forum however none of them were answered. So if you could post you solution if you find it it would be great, and with me I'm sure a lot of people will be gratefull. Denice
