Guest
I've been asked to pick up a partially completed shopping cart progrm based on osCommerce. The store is for custom-crafted doors. The price of the product isn't fixed, it's based on the size of the door, in Sq Inches * wood type. So, 5 foot wide door is 25% more expensive than a 4 foot door, same height. In fiddling with the product attributes, And, different types of wood have different prices per sq inch. (EG: Oak is alot more expensive than knotted pine) I've not figured out how to make this work with osCommerce - does anybody have some suggestions for the best way to get this ball rolling? The actual attributes I need to track are: 1) Door style, (got this figured out 2) Wood Type (oak, birch, etc) There's a price per sq inch of material. 3) Edge type (I think this is figured out) 4) Width (inches) 5) Height (inches) 6) Qty 7) Price. (wood type price/sq inch * width * height) So far, I'm lost. Any suggestions on where to begin? -Ben
