rjbishop Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 Hi. I would like to prevent people from linking to my images from remote locations. <_< How can I accomplish this task? Thanks in advance.
♥Vger Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 Do a google search for "preventing hotlinking with .htaccess", and you'll get all the info you need. Some sites will even generate the code for you. Be aware that .htaccess only works on Apache servers, and doesn't work on Windows servers. Also, some hosts like Lycos and Yahoo don't allow the use of .htaccess files. Vger
