Menutabs and subcategories

Hi,

 

i use the contrib menutabs, who just put two horizontal menu, the first is the main categories, and the second is the sub categories.

 

so there are 2 pages for this contrib : categories_tabs and categories_subtabs

 

I only want to use the sub categories, and instead of the TEXT i wanna use an IMAGE (the image of the categories)

I changed the code as i search into the forums, but it doesnt work good, it just put X red(image missing) instead of the image and the link is "/catalog/images" the files exist cause is have this images categories on my index.php
