CJ01 Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 I have upload osCommerce three times now, deleted and installed each time, and yet when I finish and click on the go to Admin button it uses the install URL followed by the Admin URL. If I type in the Admin URL and click on any of the buttons in there it again duplicates my URL. Example: http://mydomain.com/catalog/admin ://mydomain.com/catalog/admin/and all the other config parameters. I have hunted through the application_top.php files as well as the configure.php files and can't see where the domain is duplicated. I'm ready to move on and find another cart to use. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Guest Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 Maybe it's something about your server or what you're entering during installation. I've never had an installation hang up. Are you on a linux server? Maybe more details might help someone to help you.

I am using Internet Explorer as my browser on a windows machine at home. I did download the windows zip file since my windows system didn't recognized the tar file. The verbage at the download site said the two files were identical except for the compression program used.
Guest Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 Post the contents of your includes/configure.php file (but be sure to blank out the database info, that's important to keep private). Maybe you can make manual changes that will correct your installation issue. You'll need to look at admin/includes/configure.php, too.
