Jack_mcs Posted December 12, 2005 Share Posted December 12, 2005 Integrating oscommerce into an html website is not recommended since the session ID's that oscommerce uses to track visitors can be lost. However, if you want to do it, just install oscommerce into a sub-directory on your site and link to it from your html page. There are payment modules in the package. Just enable one of them, like paypal, and as long as you have an account with that company, you can start accepting payments. I think oscommerce is so popular because it is an extremely powerful shopping cart system that is free. Go into your admin section. Click on Modules. Clcik on Payment. Click on Paypal. Click on Install. Once installed, edit it and enter your paypal email address.
