Guest Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 HI, I am a relative freshman, too, but my limited experience is that the shop software was actually written for Open Source Linux +Apache +php; and frankly speaking, most of the people in this community have answers that were made and tested on that server 'combination.' So my free advice, being what it costs you, is 'pitch the existing Windows setup,' apologize to your provider in an polite email, and immediately order a simple Linux server, + Apache, +php setup. The provider won't care, ultimately, and most of the people here know how to do this on the Linux platform. Truth is, people are always proud of their successful personal work and will enjoy helping you from the wealth of their own experience. Have a nice day and good luck!
