Run an sql file in an query

Hi, I don't know what an query is. have uploaded an language pack and is told to run the sql file in an query. Somebody know?

You need to go to phpmyadmin or whatever program is in your hosting control panel for admining your database and click on the sql tab and then next to you should have a browse button that will allow you to drill down to the sql file included with the language pack. click on it then click on Run.....

 

Always backup your database before making changes just in case...

Sorry, my fault, I ment take a backup of my database. How do I do this?
